It was an interesting chance meeting with Melvin & Claudine 2 weeks ago at Raffles Shopping Centre when I was waiting outside Starbucks for C & J. they were in town to visit their new-born grandson.
Met Mel some 13? 15? years ago when we were at Money Mailer doing advertising sales. He has migrated to Perth some 10 years ago & we were on & off in touch via email, & met once when he came back to SG for a Food Fair.
It has always been an invitation to visit them in Perth but I never quite on the ball, & a couple of years ago almost made it when I wanted to go with the Skyquest team. Still it did not materialized.
At last Sunday’s meeting over Chicken Rice at Chin Chin, we arranged for a visit yet again in 2010.
But as soon as they arrive in Perth on Monday, Claudine ping me in FB to invite me over next week to join Mel for a fishing camp! She had wanted me show me the Christian community there, & wanted too see if I can get banners produced in CHN for sale. Gave them one of the 2010 calendars & they love it & asked to buy 10 more. Shared with them abit about the livelihood program for womenfolk.
I am not familiar with banners as they are porbably used mostly for dancing during worship. Apparently Claudine has been moved by the HS to dance & an experience where He took control of her enabled her to did 2 dances – a love dance & a warrior dance.
I have seen others danced before in worship when I attended events where you have all sort of people/denominations turning up, & each have their ways of worshipping God.
The timing is a bit squeeze with the calendars arriving this week, the RP cards next week, & the VWAP team leaving in 2 weeks time. I will need to get all these done within these few days so I can hop on the plane next week!
