due to my sudden decision to Perth, sorry Boon, we have brought forward the sushi party. a mini one. went to Woodlands with L to buy the stuffs including fresh salmon sashimi, salmon tummy & unagi!
we made salmon tummy miso soup, grilled unagi, & our special guest for the day: maki.
it took us quite a while & several not-too-pretty rolls of rice on nori before we finally actually figured out the right way! And voila! it came out nice & round! I wondered why I did not take photos with my phone… guess my hands too sticky with all the rice!
did a video of JH doing the demo on how to use the gadget. once you figured it out, it is really easy & neat. hope the kids will have fun!
