Late Autumn…

Starring Hyun Bin and Tang Wei, ”Late Autumn” tells the story of a serendipitous 3-day love affair between a female inmate on temporary leave and a young man on the run.

OST “If I Could Turn It Back“, which featured Clazziquai’s Alex and singer/songwriter Jane.

Another awesome song..

“That Man” … awesome song..

那双看不见的手

Came across 梁文音 & her rendition of the song… googled abit and discovered she was the runner up to the 2nd season of Taiwan’s A Million Star (or something). Pleasantly surprised.

What I Will Be..

Something resonates on Sun’s sermon and I noted that the acronym used by Ps William was so apt for me as 4 out of the 6 had been items I had wanted to worked on!

New Year. New resolution.
To be Compassion Humble Rested Intimate Steadfast Thankful.

1. To have the Compassionate heart of Him and never forget those who yet to know Him.

2. To be Humble, never thinking myself as more able than others; to be patient (one of my greatest weakness).

3. To be Rested in Him (yes, sleep continues to be s struggle.. but last week I learnt something new about the 1st, 2nd and 3rd watch of Jewish time and how crossing from 1st to 2nd watch is the time breaking over evil forces, so I might use their time to be on my knees instead!)

4. To be and enjoy the Intimacy with Him where only He can sustains me!

5. To be Steadfast, faithful that He is steadfast and faithful and thankful that He saves. Faith. Believe.

6. To Thankful and give praise to Him for ALL things.

To be like CHRIST.

Love. Faith. Live.

Happy Birthday!

Happy New Year!

New year resolution. Again. Long give up.

But ONE thing I will resolve to, is to write more often. Granted my life is not as interesting as others and many a time nothing interesting to update, BUT I will nevertheless stay in touch here. Yes, believe me one more time :-) .

2010 has come and gone. I had managed to spend some time to think about my life and had an extended prayer time (yes, 11pm+ to 2am+) with some new friends. Prayer life will be one major change I want to see myself make deliberate provision for. Corporate and private alike.

Like L, I should come out with a list of maybe 10, not 30! of things I want to do this year.. But I need to think about it cos I don’t know what I want to do! :-) . Seriously! and how can that be??

Ok, Israel is a destination I want to reach this year, possibly in March. Will that still leave any $$ for US??

Ok, this needs to be continued.. ;p

Love. Faith. Wait. Live.

MIA…

.. again! Many thoughts in mind but the hands would not move the keyboard to type!

The last 2 months since returning from China has been plunged into work for the childcare centre… and a saint in the making for me.. I have since been “promoted” to Saint Sharon!!!

With my 3 honeys back, other than the FB updates of the photos. there is hardly any room for more! But dear friends, I will be back.. very soon, I promised.. Next week.

World Cup

The World Cup brings to mind the Europe trip made 4 years ago, aka Club la Femme’s Project Europe.

Last year’s finals were played by France & Italy, the only 2 (excluding Monaco) countries we visited. I had in mind the next euro destinatino to be Spain & Portugal. While I did not made the trip, Spain did made it to the finals!

SO, the next destinations I choose, may well be in the next World Cup’s finals! Does that me me an octopus or parakeet too? ;p

Rather than the World Cup, what brought to mind was actually the fact that we did made the trip in 2006. For the typical S’porean, may never make it, though things are pretty much different now. For most, Europe (think Paris) is a honeymoon destination.

Something that seemed far-fetched, no matter what it may be, if you decide upon it, and PLAN for it to happen, it will! I remembered I did start off with a monthly savings of $300 for the trip for a year, notwithstanding the fact that I had little to begin with then.

Since then, I save every month specially for holidays for $200-$300 a month, for as long as I am/was working. $2000-$3000 can make a decent holiday at the end of the saving period.

Hmm… when can I start building my holiday account again?????

There is still Spain & Portugal, Korea, more Taiwan, Hainan, Maldives, Seychelles, Israel, …. the list goes on. :-)
